Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Network Monitoring Tools Administrator with extensive experience in administering enterprise-grade network monitoring tools and a strong understanding of network infrastructure fundamentals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to operate in a complex global networking environment.

Candidates need to have:

5+ years of experience administering network monitoring tools in a large enterprise environment.
In-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, BGP, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting experience with SNMP, NetFlow, alerts, and dashboards.
Proficient in Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu).
Working knowledge of ServiceNow and Event Management platforms.

Preferred Skill:

Experience with Broadcom/CA Spectrum, CA Performance Management, and CA Network Flow Analysis.
Familiarity with Riverbed NetIM, NetProfiler, and IBM SevOne NPM.
REST API scripting and automation experience.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience.
Prior experience in the airline industry or related technologies.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and project lifecycles.

Job Responsibilities:

Administer and manage enterprise-wide network monitoring tools.
Migrate network telemetry solutions while preserving and expanding existing capabilities.
Configure data collection and monitoring for network devices across corporate HQ, data centers, colocation sites, international call centers, airport locations, and regional offices.
Perform device discovery, system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and security updates with minimal impact to operations.
Troubleshoot and optimize SNMP trap and polling configurations, NetFlow, alerts, and dashboards.
Maintain and update network monitoring tool infrastructure documentation and architecture diagrams.
Collaborate on technical projects and initiatives with cross-functional teams.
Support ServiceNow integrations and Event Management workflows.
Constantly improve and implement automation of recurring technical tasks.
Stay current on networking and industry trends, completing internal training as required.
